This 3 days 2 nights Berber villages walking tours takes you to Imlil from Marrakech. On the first day of the trip you will get to spend night at a traditional Berber house at Timichi village. The next day you will trek to Tizi n’Tachdirte at an altitude of 3230m, from where you can see the stunning views of Imnane valley. On the last day you will trek towards Imlil via Tizi n’Tamatert from where you can see breathtaking views from this pass and see all the High Atlas peaks.

DAY 1:
After a transfer to the village of Imlil, we start our trek. We walk from Imlil (1740m) towards Tinerhourhine, hereby passing by Tamatert. We will have lunch on the col of Tizi ‘n Tamatert (2279m). After lunch continue to Ouanesekra-Tamguist. Later we arrive at Tinerhourhine (1600m) where we will spend the night in a local gite.
Approx. 4 hours walking.
DAY 2:
We depart from Tinerhourhine along the Imnane Valley, hereby we pass the Berber village Ikkiss (1700m). We then continue to Tizi n’Aguersioual (2000m) and will have our lunch at Matate (2000m). We will spend the night in a local gite in Aït Aïssa (1800m).
Approx. 6 to 7 hours walking.
DAY 3:
We depart from Aït Aïssa and walk towards Tizi Oussem (1900m). We pass by Tizi Mzik (2400m), and the village of Mzik before arriving back in Imlil, transfer to Marrakech drop in your Hotel.

WHAT TO BRING
You need to prepare as you would for walking in any mountain region: it can be warm and sunny during the day but the weather in the mountains can quickly change from sunshine to snow and cold winds (autumn through late spring). Please do not leave any rubbish behind you; carry out what you carry in.
We are tailored to match the season and your level of fitness. You have the choice of basing yourself in Berber Guesthouses, from where you can take daily walks, or you can Atlas Mule Trek for 2+ days. On mule treks you usually have the choice of staying in Berber Guesthouse/with families or wild camping in 2-person tents. In addition to regular packing, here is a check list:
- Good walking boots and socks
- Comfortable shoes/slippers for camp/guesthouse
- Trekking pants
- Lightweight waterproof over-trousers / rain-pants
